2025-W45 Training Log
Sunset over the Flat Irons

I should have known that feeling too good comes with a price. The week was generally progressing well and I was hitting most of my planned miles. Friday I set out for an hour of base and was feeling quite good at the start. I decided to try and set a segment PR for Wiper Trail next to Standley lake and started pushing all out once I hit the segment. I felt great and the pace came easy. I ran near my PR (recorded on Strava) for 1 Mile and move way up on the leader board for the segment. I wrapped up the run without much issue.

Later that day and through the weekend my inner knee started to get really sore. I have had this issue before when I ran the Paris Half Marathon in 2016. Pain was located near the Pes Anserine Bursa and gets worse with more running. I decided to take the weekend off running to give it a break.
